Rafael Nadal matches Roger Federer's record

After months of absence from the ATP Tour, Rafael Nadal is back after a foot problem and is now two matches from history. The Spanish champion will face the Italian number one Matteo Berrettini in the semifinals: he is two races from winning his twenty-first career Slam, a record that would allow him to overtake Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic and thus become the tennis player with the most Grand Slam titles in history.

A great victory for Rafa and a great setback for Novak Djokovic, a big absentee in the tournament, kicked out of Australia after he was initially granted the pass as a medical exemption to participate in the tournament and then they ousted him, persecuting him for his beliefs of No-Vax that do not make him get the vaccine for the now known Covid-19 virus.

Waiting to see if Rafa will really manage to become the first men tennis player to reach 21 Slams in his career and therefore approach the appointment of GOAT, Nadal has reached a new record in his immense career, after the semifinal won against Denis Shapovalov on the Rod Laver Arena.

The Spanish champion beat the young Canadian talent Shapovalov after five amazing and hard-fought sets and some physical problems and thus joined Roger Federer, Jimmy Connors and Andre Agassi in a curious and interesting record, yet another record that shows his great longevity, in addition to his boundless talent.

For the seventeenth year of his career, at least in a Grand Slam tournament, Rafael Nadal has reached at least one semifinal, to be precise he started this record in the now very distant 2005. Nadal has achieved record after record, the most important undoubtedly on clay where he showed his incredible numbers and his enormous talent and where in Paris he conquered records on the verge of crazy.
