Carlos Alcaraz had to play his best tennis to beat a brave Jan-Lennard Struff in the forst round of Wimbledon 2022, 3rd Grand Slam of the season played on the London lawns. The Spaniard found himself two sets down, but found the strength to raise his head and overtake his opponent with the final score of 4-6, 7-5, 4-6, 7-6 (3), 6 -4.
During the tie-break that allowed him to rejoin the game, Alcaraz hit an incredible one-handed backhand passer-by and literally electrocuted Struff. A passer-by that allowed him to recover the mini-break from a disadvantage and put pressure on his rival.
