Trefl Sopot (EBL) added to their roster 32-year old Belgian international shooting guard Jean Salumu (193cm-87kg-1990) for new 2022-23 season. Salumu played last season at Chalons-Reims in French ProB. In 23 Betclic ELITE ProA games he had 8.3ppg, 1.6rpg and 1.4apg.
The previous (2020-21) season he played at Rasta Vechta in German BBL where in 13 games he recorded 14.5ppg, 1.8rpg and 2.2apg in that year.
Salumu has played also professionally in Italy (Varese and Pistoia), Turkey (Sakarya Buyuksehir Basketbol) and Belgium (Oostende, Leuven Bears and Oudenaarde).
