First responders on site after Aeromexico plane crashes in Durango – Daily Mail

The Mexican airliner was taking off from Durango International Airport when it went down in an area of scrubland at the end of the runway after a failed attempt to abort take-off due to bad weather. Images showed the E190 aircraft billowing smoke but firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control and survivors were taken to local hospitals by a fleet of ambulance. ‘It is confirmed that there were no deaths following the accident of flight Aeromexico 2431,’ Durango governor Jose Rosas Aispuro Torres wrote on Twitter.
