Stephen Walsh, 37, from Nottingham, collapsed and died after being punched in the face at the new home he moved into with his fiancee Katie Brown and two children just two weeks ago. Builder Mr Walsh was involved a car accident on Sunday night when his Lexus is understood to have collided with a gold estate car or van. Police believe he didn’t stop at the scene and was followed back to his home 100 yards away in Mapperley, by a furious driver who attacked him on his doorstep. He died in his sleep and was discovered at 5.55am. Today a 21-year-old suspect was taken into custody by Nottinghamshire Police and arrested on suspicion of his murder. Suzanne Walsh, who is believed to be Stephen’s cousin, said: ‘He meant so much to so many. This is so senseless and cruel. – I will miss him forever’.
