Zimbabwe opposition supporters protest parliamentary results – Daily Mail

WARNING GRAPHIC CONTENT: Gunfire was heard in Zimbabwe’s capital Harare today while smoke has been seen rising from burning vehicles as protesters clashed with soldiers over alleged fraud in the country’s elections. Witnesses say a man was killed after being shot in the stomach when the Zimbabwean army opened fire on protesters who had clashed with police and pictures show someone lying motionless on the ground. It comes after President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s ruling party cruised to a large majority in the first elections since Robert Mugabe was ousted from power. As the results were made public, the main opposition leader accused the ruling ZANU-PF of trying to rig the result.
